When reviewing Britannia Good Day Harmony biscuits, we were looking for crisp, well-baked biscuits that had nutty bites. Balanced sweetness, an inviting aroma, freshness, and quantity of the nuts were also gauged.

Could we identify the nuts individually? Were they fresh? Did hazelnuts have the characteristic musty sweetness, and cashews mild but subtly creamy? What about pistachios and almonds, had salted variants been used?

Appearance & Aroma

There were 12 thick, well-browned, unbroken biscuits in the pack. On the elevated surface of each disc, there are curved lines embossed in a semi-circular pattern. Little bits of pistachios, almonds, and cashews were seen. 

They featured a prominent vanilla aroma.

Taste & Texture

The crunch was on point! Not too pronounced but not too subtle either, these biscuits seemed to be baked quite well. They were slightly crumbly/brittle. We liked how the nuts were present in each bite and had a moderate crunch. We performed a dunk test with some garma garam chai and the biscuit developed a soft, soggy bite. 

Just like aroma, the flavor profile was dominant on vanilla too, in addition to a milky flavor. The rich buttery flavor did not feel oily or heavy. The tinge of saltiness helps balance out the sweetness of the cookie.
