Our Review Factors
We also discuss the ingredients, price, packaging, and other information in the following section.
1. Taste
Spices lend lingering flavors that makes this beverage as soothing and as refreshing as it gets. We checked to see if this packaged product can replicate these flavors. If yes, how well did it perform?
Salt is added only in a detox kahwa. How was the overall taste? Balance of salt, hing and other spices were checked.
2. Aroma
Since these spices (ginger, tulsi, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, clove, nutmeg, among others) are brewed, they release their natural aromas. Could a ready to use tea bag capture this? Appealing or not?
3. Other Parameters
Here the non-tasting parameters like price, packaging, and other information were recorded.

How did we brew this beverage?
Following the instructions on the pack, we added one tea bag to a cup and infused it with 100 ml of freshly boiled water. After letting it sit for three minutes, we commenced tasting.
Aroma + Appearance
The saltiness was quite prominent, but not overwhelming. There was also a slight pepperiness of ginger. After we took out the bag, we noticed the brewed beverage was not completely clear. It had a cloudy appearance.
Taste
Like its aroma, this kahwa tasted salty too. That said, this was not overpowering, it was surprisingly desirable. The unmistakable comforting zing of ginger was present, highly appreciable. All-in-all, this was very refreshing and soothing.
Pros
- Staple-free packing
