SUPERB!
Summary
Prasuma Pizza Minis are generously loaded, blending traditional Indian flavors with Italian culinary finesse. The texture is satisfying for most, but a touch of more crispiness could take it to the next level.
Prasuma won over audiences with its irresistible range of momos. Riding on that success, the brand has ventured into more frozen snacks like pizzas, kebabs, and samosas. Their latest offering, Prasuma Pizza Minis, aims to bring a fresh take on a classic favorite, featuring 100% real mozzarella cheese and premium ingredients.

Our Review Factors
What are we looking for? A fresh-tasting pizza with a crispy base, ample toppings, and easy preparation.
1. Flavor
- Freshness: The pizza should taste fresh. It should have an appealing taste without any artificial aftertaste.
- Flavor Profile: We are looking for a pizza with a delicious sauce, toppings with a balanced flavor profile, a fresh-tasting cheese, and a pizza base with the typical fermented-dough-like flavor. It’s easy to mismatch flavors in a pizza, which is why all of the flavors should come together beautifully.
2. Texture
- Base: The crust should crisp up nicely during cooking without becoming too hard, dry, or chewy.
- Thickness: The base should have the right thickness – neither too thin nor too thick, which could make it too doughy or undercooked.
- Toppings: The cheese should melt evenly and have a smooth, creamy feel. Toppings like veggies or meats should retain their texture well without becoming mushy or rubbery. We are looking for abundant fresh veggies (Veg Supreme) and juicy, tender pieces of chicken (Chicken Tikka).
3. Overall Experience
- Convenience is key when it comes to frozen pizza. The pizza should be easy to prepare, with clear instructions and minimal effort required.
- Packaging plays an important role in maintaining the pizza’s freshness, ensuring there are no signs of freezer burn or compromised quality. The toppings should not be displaced but neatly plopped on the base.
In addition to the above, we also noted information on the price, ingredients, packaging and shelf life ensuring a well-rounded review.

How To Cook Prasuma Pizza Minis?
There are 4 ways to heat/cook Prasuma Pizza Minis. They are as follows:
- In a pan: Place pan on medium heat. Add frozen pizza and 2 ice cubes (40 gm) to the pan. Cover and cook for 9-10 minutes.
- In an oven: Preheat oven to 230 degrees. Place frozen pizza on rack. Bake for 12-13 mins.
- Air fry: Preheat air fryer to 130 degrees. Place pizza. Air fry for 9-10 mins
- Microwave : Heat pizza for 2-3 mins.
The brand recommends the pan method among the four options. We followed the packaging guidelines and used this method to heat the pizzas.
Cooking Experience
Before moving forward, here’s a brief overview of our cooking experience:
We followed the recommended cooking method, but encountered a couple of challenges along the way. The ice cubes, as suggested, created plenty of steam, which was great for ensuring an evenly cooked pizza.
- However, the steam also made the base slightly wet than we’d hoped. This resulted in a softer crust that wasn’t as crisp as we would have preferred.
- Additionally, the wet dough sticks to the pan, even though we didn’t use any oil. Also despite trying with different non-stick pans, the results were the same.
- On the plus side, the steam did contribute to a wonderfully soft interior, making sure the pizza heated evenly all the way through.
- Furthermore, even on medium flame, the pizza cooked in just about 5-6 minutes.

Taste
This pizza is generously loaded with ample toppings. The cheese is plentiful, which melts to perfection and adds a rich creaminess.
The mushrooms, onions, and jalapenos are piled on in abundance, ensuring a satisfying bite. The pizza tastes fantastic, with a pleasant freshness that stands out.
We particularly enjoyed the tangy, herb-infused tomato sauce spread on the base.
Texture
The pizza base is not overly doughy and retains a fresh, soft texture that’s pleasant to bite into. But if you’re someone who enjoys a crisp pizza, we feel that using an air fryer would be a better option to heat them.
The pan method does leave the dough slightly wet in some parts, but this can be overlooked if you don’t mind a bit of extra moisture.

Taste
The Chicken Tikka pizza is equally impressive, with a generous amount of spice-infused chicken that really stands out. We were delighted by the bold, flavorful spices that coated each tender piece of chicken.
The brand didn’t skimp on the chicken, ensuring that each bite was full of flavors.
Texture
The pizza base strikes a nice balance. It is not too doughy, and maintains a fresh, soft texture that’s enjoyable with every bite. However, if you prefer a crispier crust, we recommend using an air fryer for heating, as it can achieve the perfect crunch.
Could the crust be thinner? Maybe! But then it might not be able to hold the weight of the toppings.
Value for Money: Yes, these pizzas are on the expensive side! But when you compare them to any pizza from a QSR, which typically costs ₹100-150 and comes with very few toppings, the price seems justified.
Prasuma Pizza Minis are packed with generous toppings and burst with delicious flavors, offering much more in terms of taste and substance.
- Generous amount of chicken topping
- Excellent flavor
- Well seasoned and tender chicken pieces
- The pizza base could be improved for a better overall experience.
For those craving a flavorful non-veg pizza loaded with generous chicken pieces, Chicken Tikka Mini Pizza by Prasuma should be on your list.
