Too Yumm! has carved a niche for itself in the snack aisle and now they’re venturing into the world of instant noodles with their Too Yumm! K-Bomb Ramen product line. We decided to put three of their varieties – Tom Yum, Hot ‘N’ Spicy, and Mi Goreng – to the test.
In this review, we’ll break down the taste, texture, and overall experience of each flavor to help you decide which bowl is worth adding to your pantry.
Our Review Factors
What are we expecting? A delightful bowl of noodles with balanced flavors and a non-sticky texture.
The following parameters were set for our review process:
1. Taste
Under this segment, we are looking at the following:
- Does each flavor (e.g., Tom Yum, Hot & Spicy, Mi Goreng) stay true to its label? For instance, does Tom Yum capture the zingy, citrusy notes, or does Mi Goreng deliver the sweet and savory soy flavors expected?
- Are the flavors well-balanced, or is there any specific ingredient that overpowers the rest?
- Does the flavor linger pleasantly or is there any artificial aftertaste?
2. Texture
Texture plays a vital role in evaluating instant noodles:
- Are the noodles cooked to an ideal texture?
- Do they maintain a firm yet tender bite? Or do they turn mushy or overly chewy?
We also evaluated the ratio of broth to noodles, as a good balance ensures every bite offers a satisfying combination of both.
3. Secondary Criterion
We also documented key information including – ingredients, price, packaging, and shelf life – for each variant.

These noodles boast a superior texture as well compared to the other variants we tested.
The overall profile is well-rounded, offering a delightful burst of flavors that elevate the experience with each bite.

2. K-Bomb Hot ‘N’ Spicy
Product Details
The K-bomb Hot ‘N’ Spicy noodles are priced at ₹40 and contain 79 g net weight. It has a shelf life of six months and comes in a red package.
Note: Our pack of noodles contained 2 premixes (image) but no masala. We had to use the masala from another pack. This raises concerns about the user experience, especially for first-time buyers.
Receiving a pack without the masala would be a disappointing experience.
Main Ingredients
- Noodles: Refined wheat flour, Edible vegetable oil (rice bran oil), Iodized salt, Wheat gluten, Starch, Gelling agent (INS 508), Sequestrant (INS 451 (i)), Thickener (INS 412), and Acidity regulators (INS 501 (i), INS 500 (i)).

Our Experience
This flavor brings a delightful spicy kick to the table, making it a treat for those who enjoy a bit of heat in their bowl of noodles. The “hot and spicy” claim is well met in terms of taste. While the chili intensity falls in the medium range, it’s enough to tingle the taste buds without overwhelming them.
The flavor profile evolves brilliantly, with a prominent aftertaste of red chili, followed by garlic.
The noodles are long and stringy, providing a satisfying bite with no issues in texture.
- Lives up to its hot and spicy claim
- Long and stringy noodles
- Balanced chili intensity
- While there’s a kick, the initial heat isn’t extremely intense. This might disappoint those seeking very high levels of spiciness.
It is perfect for people who are fans of bold flavors with a savory garlic finish.

Our Experience
While this flavor was the least liked among the others, it successfully captured some key characteristics of Mi Goreng. The strong soy flavor and the distinct yellow tinge of the noodles, typical of fried Mi Goreng, were accurate representations.
However, the texture of the noodles fell short, as they were stickier than normal, making them less appealing. The overall flavor profile, which included both sweet and savory flavors, was dominated by a strong soy flavor. This detracted from the overall experience, making it less pleasurable.
Lastly, the aftertaste left an “ultra-average” impression that fails to elevate the eating experience.
All in all, while the Mi Goreng Fried noodles by Too Yumm! nails the visual and flavor concept to some extent, but the execution in texture and overall taste leaves much to be desired.
