Right as we open the pack, there is a captivating aroma of guava and salt-chilli mix. It instantly reminds you of the smell of a freshly cut guava sprinkled with chilli and salt.
The appearance of these biscuits might however surprise some people at first glance. The biscuit are bright green color while the cream filling is pink in hue (like how the center of guava typically is). The top of these biscuits was speckled with salt.
Taste + Texture
This guava chili cream biscuits is a love-it-or-hate-it affair. Our team was divided over “Who would eat this?”, but united on that it does a very good job of replicating the guava flavors. Packed with black salt, chili, and mango powder, it evokes the taste of freshly cut guava sprinkled with masala. Honestly, this guava and chilli combination would be enjoyed more as a whole fruit rather than in a creme biscuit. The cream filling is very tasty and beautifully captures the essence of how a guava would taste.
