#FirstImpressions of Mom’s Magic’s Chocolate Chip Cookies
We love that more and more brands of chocolate chip cookies are available now. When we did our Tastiest Chocolate Chip Cookie Review, Mom’s Magic Chocolate Chip Cookies were unavailable. We are glad these are now commonly available and make for delicious chocolate chip cookies.
The cookie itself is delicately chocolatey- with a hint of desiccated coconut that makes the cookies tastier. Don’t worry; the cookies don’t take like coconut cookies! There are large chocolate chips in this chunky cookie. Ample chocolate chips mean that no matter what part of the cookie you eat, there’s is always a few chips in every bite.
Things would have been nearly perfect if the cookie was a little less dry on the inside. A little less sandy, and crumbly. Eating a cookie that keeps shedding crumbs can be a little messy. That said, Sunfeast Mom’s Magic Chocolate Chip Cookies make for a tasty snack for your evening -time.
How about making some mixed chocolate cookies at home? Here’s the recipe!
Mixed Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 300 Grams Flour
- 200 Grams Butter
- 100 Grams Granulated sugar
- 1 Egg yolk
- 50 Grams White chocolate
- 50 Grams Milk chocolate
- 100 Grams Dark chocolate
-
Start by creaming softened butter and sugar together until it is mixed in well.
-
Add sieved flour on top and begin to mix it into the creamed butter and sugar mix by slowly rubbing it in with just your fingers.
-
Once the mixture gains a sand like texture, add the egg yolk. Knead the mix for no more than 3-5 minutes just so it holds together. Sprinkle a few drops of water if necessary.
-
Add the chocolate chips into the dough and mix well. For best results use slightly larger chocolate chunks instead of chocolate chips by roughly chopping up chocolate bars.
-
Flatten the dough on a plate, cover it and let it rest in a refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
-
Once rested, make medium sized roundels of the dough and place them on non-stick baking trays or silicone mats.
-
Due to the use of granulated sugar the cookies will spread during baking so make sure to leave enough space between each roundel.
-
Bake the cookies at 190°C for about 8-12 minutes. Let the cookies cool down before you serve them.
