#FirstImpressions Of Veeba’s Chocolate Fudge

There are several ways of enjoying any chocolate fudge syrup. You can add it to milkshakes, smoothies, or eat spoonfuls with desserts. We tasted Veeba’s all-new Chocolate-fudge topping, ‘made with rich pure cocoa,’ three ways – on top of Mother Dairy’s French Vanilla ice cream, with a soft slice of almond bread, and as is. During all three tastings, we felt the chocolate fudge syrup does justice to the value for money quotient. It is thick and chocolatey, with a dark chocolate brown color.

Taste-wise, we found this to be a little too sweet. However, this may not be a bad thing necessarily. Say, if you are adding this – and only this syrup – as a sweetening agent to a smoothie /milkshake then it would work well. But if you are eating this with something that is sweetened already – like ice cream or an apple pie – you may feel that everything tastes a bit too sweet together. We tried to add smaller quantities in this case, but then the ‘chocolate’ in the chocolate syrup couldn’t be tasted much. So when you try this product out – experiment with different combinations and quantities and see where you find a balance that works for you.

Overall, its a satisfactory chocolate syrup with a thick, gooey consistency. The sugar crystals are quite small, making sure the syrup is not grainy and has a creamy texture.
