GOOD!
Summary
Crafted using millet flours, McVities Millet Almond Cookies are tasty and very crunchy. In our opinion, the overall nutritional value is satisfactory, but the ingredient list could have been cleaner.
Like most packaged fruit juices and bread, biscuits too have a bad rap considering they are loaded with sugar, preservatives and additives. Finding healthy snacking options with clean ingredients is difficult, but not impossible. Can McVities Millet Almond Cookies be something we choose to snack on with our tea?

Our Detailed Experience
McVitie’s Millet Almond Cookies have a premium packaging. The tray pack helped the cookies stay in shape as none of them were broken.
The flavor profile of these cookies is commendable. They have a nice buttery aftertaste with balanced sweetness. While these are not loaded with nuts, the occasional inclusions of almonds or cashews add a crunch and provide a welcome textural contrast. There is a dominant milky vanilla flavor that adds a touch of undeniable indulgence.
Though these cookies are not healthy in any way, the different millet flours (sorghum, bajra and ragi) used is far better than a traditional maida-based cookie.
Texture-wise, these cookies are very crunchy without succumbing to the dryness often associated with millet-based cookies.

- Crunchy texture
- Does not feel dry
- Pleasant milky, vanilla flavor
