Our review process involved getting as many commonly available brands as possible and conducting blind and regular tastings in our review lab. The jams were kept in regular conditions and opened only at the time of the taste tests.

We first blind tasted all the 6 brands. Once we narrowed the list down to the top 2 tasting jams, we conducted a further sandwich-test. We used slices of soft, white bread, buttered on both sides as canvases to further try out the jams. The top 2 jams in our first taste session were Kissan and Druk. Both these brands were then taken to the sandwich round where we checked how easy they were to spread and how well they would pair with usual accompaniments like bread and butter. Surprisingly, both brands tasted equally good.

How We Picked Our Brands

 

The main factor that affects our brand picking is the availability of the brand in the variants/flavors chosen for the review. The brands selected for our Best Mixed Fruit Jam review are easily available in any supermarket across the country and even at your nearest kirana store. Results For Our Taste Test

 

For our tasting process, we applied an equal amount of jam along with butter and tasted each of our brands out of which Kissan and Druk emerged as our Top Picks.
