Our Review Factors
When reviewing Nestlé KitKat Dessert Delight Rich Choco Fudge chocolate, we looked for the following parameters.
While taste, aroma, and appearance were the primary focus, we also put emphasis on the packaging. Does it have a touch of premium too?
1. Packaging
Usually, Kitkat is packed in foil and further wrapped in the signature red wrapper.
Does the brand offer the same packaging or have they taken it up a notch?
2. Flavor
Milk chocolate and chocolate fudge. Is this chocolate overload TOO sweet? Or balanced?
Could we identify the flavors individually or was it all blended into a bite?
3. Texture
We anticipated the milk chocolate coating to be smooth and decadent and the wafer biscuits to be fresh and crisp. As for the fudge, a creamy, chewy bite was expected.
How close does Kitkat come to our expectations?

Nestle KitKat Dessert Delight Rich Choco Fudge Chocolate – Detailed Review
Packaging – We got out hands on a limited edition pack that comes with a greeting card. There are golden heart-shaped pop-ups.
The regular packaging, too, feels quite premium. The chocolate bar is wrapped in foil, and further in a carton.
Texture – The chocolate coating has a smooth mouthfeel. This also shows good quality chocolate has been used, as there is no grainy, gritty texture.
The wafer biscuit retains the crisp bite. When stored at room temperature, the chocolate starts melting. It is therefore advised to store this ‘dessert’ under refrigeration. Overall, this has a creaminess with a firm bite. The chocolate is dense but has that fudgy softness that we LOVED.
Flavor – It has an enticing aroma of chocolate mixed with vanilla.
Sweet! The coating of milk chocolate over the wafer biscuits is on point. It does not create an overwhelming chocolatey flavor, nor does it feel sparse. All sides are evenly covered in milk chocolate. We like how there were no rancid flavors of milk/oil-based products.
- Full marks on packaging!
- The aroma had us drooling.
- Very decadent and premium-tasting.
- The textural interplay was commendable.
