Well, the label on the bottles says that this is an ‘Ayurvedic Proprietary Medicine’ and therefore by extension, you cannot expect these to taste good. All three flavors taste and smell like cough syrup, a very sweet and sharp cough syrup at that. We tasted all three, albeit we didn’t go partying after trying them. So, I cannot comment on the efficacy of the ‘anti-hangover’ claim! However, the herbs added are known to help soothe a hangover. Take aloe vera for example – in addition to its many health benefits, drinking aloe vera juice is believed to make recovery faster. Other herbs that are friends to our liver, and are part of the 15- herb concoction here, are giloy, kasni, bhringaraj, pittapada and kamalphul.
