#FirstImpressions Of Organic Roots Multigrain Khichdi

To begin with, we liked the clean, classy packaging of Organic Roots Multigrain Khichdi. There is no unnecessary use of plastic or aluminum foil. The box comes with a whole lot of information about the product, including calories, a list of ingredients and the sourcing and farming ethos of the brand.

Mishry Reviews:
Organic Roots Multigrain Khichdi

We would have like to see the exact percentage of each of the grains used in Organic Roots Multigrain Khichdi, as also the list of spices used. This information would have made the list of ingredients more helpful for those looking for a healthy meal.

Organic Roots, a relatively new brand seen on the shelves of supermarkets, has come up with a ready-to-eat version of everyone’s favorite home recipe, Khichdi.

This is a ready-to-cook pack; all you need to do is add half a cup of boiling water, and wait for the contents to rehydrate.

Organic Roots Multigrain Khichdi has a fresh aroma, which you get a slight whiff of even before adding the hot water. It has fewer calories, and the portion size is just right for one health-conscious person. And that clearly is the target audience for the product.

Speaking of flavors – this is a tasty khichdi. It is well-seasoned and well-spiced. The many different grains used in the mix rehydrate well and you get an evenly cooked bowl of khichdi. The consistency is a little watery, exactly how most of us eat khichdi at home. We wouldn’t recommend you change that quantity of water as that might make the final outcome a bit dry.
