The first thing that hits you when you eat Sattviko’s Gur Chana is the sweetness levels. It is very sweet, indeed. But then, gur chana is meant to be sweet. In fact, it is the balance of the sweetness from the gur and the nutty chana that makes this such a winter favourite.

While the chana inside does seem a bit dry, we liked the overall flavor quite a bit. It has a nice bite, and feels light on the palate.

Gur chana as a snack is high in calories, as expected, thanks to the coating of gur. And so, this is not something you want to munch on if you trying to shed a few kilos.

The upside is that it is pocket friendly – A 90gm jar costs Rs 50/-.
