Let’s first talk about the filling: The chocolate filling inside is just the right consistency. It’s not runny, which would make it a messy eating experience. ‘Velvety’ is more like it. It tastes delicious, its got that nice, rich chocolatey flavor which is sweet, mildly nutty, but not bitter.
The outer layer, that holds this velvety chocolate filling, is crisp and creates a good balance for the smooth chocolate filling inside. As you bite into a Dark Fantasy, you get gooey chocolate and crisp cookie in equal measure making them work for each other quite well. The outer cookie itself is mildly sweet and buttery, but it’s the filling that shines through.

Parle’s Milano Choco Delight:
This has a few issues, but the topmost is just how crumbly it is, to the point that its difficult to get a good bite. It falls apart really easily. In fact, the packet we bought, had more crumbled cookies than unbroken ones.
Milano is clearly for an older audience and has a mild bitter-chocolate taste. The filling is fine on consistency and is good-tasting. It’s the exterior that brings down what could have been a good dark-chocolatey-cookie. Aside from what we shared about the cookie being crumbly, the overall bite, even when you decide to have it all in one go, feels a bit dry and dense. Again, the chocolate filling is the only relief.
