Flavor Notes For Rajdhani Besan
In our quest to find the best besan brand for our pakodas, we tested seven brands for our review. We wanted to test all the brands for their crunchiness and taste through two methods – dry tasting and by making pakodas.
Rajdhani Besan emerged as our Top Pick. We dry tasted all the contenders, and Rajdhani had a strong chana-dal aroma which was on the sour side. It had a slightly coarse texture.
For the pakodas – We noticed that the batter made using Rajdhani Besan was very light and was very easy to whip up. No lumps were seen while making the batter. The aloo pakodas made using Rajdhani besan were the crunchiest and had a nice tasty besan flavor.
