The finger guard is priced at Rs 250/- and has a stainless steel body. It is not flimsy, and the tool looks very sturdy. There is a small ring-like attachment at the back where you can slide your finger into. It is supposed to be worn in the middle finger for maximum comfort.
How we used it – We used it to chop, slice and dice a variety of vegetables like onions, potatoes, and tomatoes to see if it would work well with hard and soft vegetables with different textures.

Who is this product for? This product is perfect for people who are extremely prone to cuts or are professional chefs. This is a good tool that can be used in professional kitchens where the cooking team has to go through hours and hours of peeling, and chopping, where the knives used are much sharper than our domestic kitchen knives.
Does it work? Yes! The finger guard is easy to use, and is comfortable to wear. It is sturdy and the grip is strong. It did its job of protecting the fingers well.
How is the overall usability? You can use it if you are fond of quirky, fancy kitchen accessories. Overall it has extremely minimal use in a regular domestic kitchen, but can be a boon in a professional kitchen where people have to peel, cut, and chop for hours at a stretch, where a moment’s lack of attention can lead to serious cuts and injuries.
