Too Yumm Karare Chilli Achari comes in a green and black color pack. We reviewed the 43 gm (35 gm + 8 gm extra) variant. It costs Rs. 10. The shelf life is 6 months. The pack is not resealable.
Appearance & Aroma
In terms of appearance, these are shaped in the form of sticks. There is a layer of masala coating on them. The color of this snack is dark yellow, and the sprinkled masala lends a slightly reddish tone.
The achari aroma was the most dominant here.
Nutritional Label
The main ingredients here are – Rice grits (45%), corn grits (30%), edible Veg oil (palmolein), and seasoning – sugar & salt.
In addition, it has *spices and condiments – (contains garlic), maltodextrin, milk solids, gelling agent (INS 508), hydrolyzed veg protein, anticaking agent (INS 551), flavor enhancer (INS 627, 631), Edible veg oil (sunflower), emulsifier (INS 414)
*Used as a natural sourcing agent.
It also uses permitted colors(INS 160c) and contains added flavors – natural and nature identical substances.
Allergen Information – contains wheat, soya, milk solids, and mustard.
The brand makes use of both palmolein oil and sunflower oil. While sunflower oil is relatively healthy, we do not appreciate the presence of palmolein oil.
Per 100 gm, Too Yumm Karare Chilli Achari contains 483 kcal of energy, 69 gm of carbs, 5.2 gm of protein and 20.5 gm of fat.
Per 100 gm serving of regular potato chips contains about 35 to 37 gm of fat. The calories for the same is 536 kcal.

Taste
A typical achari flavor is a combination of different spices including fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds, black pepper, cumin, nigella seeds and aniseeds. We look for a similar flavor here. The flavor of green chilli achari is on point and is quite prominent.

Appearance-wise, there is a layer of masala coating on these twisted sticks. They are yellow in appearance. On opening the pack, it emits a masaledaar aroma. It is similar to that of the tastemaker of your favorite instant noodles.

Taste & Texture
In terms of taste, these are medium spicy, have an umami taste, and well-balanced salt levels. The mild presence of garlic combines very well with the masala flavor. There is a tad bit of sugar present too. Texture-wise, these are non-oily and crispy. They have a crunch in every bite.
