Mishry Rating
GOOD!
Summary
Bacardi Mixr are non-alcoholic cocktail mixers we would recommend only for occasional consumption. Though refreshing and convenient, these are quite high on the sugar content.
When it comes to stocking your home bar, mixers are equally as essential as spirits. Mojitos, Cosmopolitans, Long Island Iced Teas are certain classics that can go horribly wrong if an incorrect proportion of ingredients is used.
Then come in mixers- your answer to convenient, cost-effective cocktails. This year, Bacardi tapped into this trend with two classics- Long Island Tea and Mojito. In this Bacardi Non Alcoholic Mixer review, we tasted both and here is what we think.

Our Review Factors
What parameters did we set to review Bacardi Mixer Drinks?
Taste and price were the prime review-forming parameters. We also gauged the convenience and nutrition aspects.
1. Taste
Both launches by Bacardi are classics. LIIT has a bright and refreshing flavor while mojitos dominate mint-citrusy flavors.
How do these mixers taste? Is the sweetness balanced? Are the flavors prominent? Do they feel natural or artificial?
2. Convenience
Some spirit, soda, and garnish and of course the Bacardi Mix’r- is that all you need to prepare a lip-smacking cocktail at home?
Here, we also gauged the consistency. Does it mix seamlessly or does it require vigorous mixing?
3. Ingredients + Macronutrients
There is no shortage of zero-alcohol mixers in the market. We compared certain brands we have reviewed in the past. We scanned the list for sugar, additives, flavors, and overall calories.
4. Other Parameters
Packaging is one of the first things we notice about any product we see on market shelves. Are these bottles attractive? Or are they something that you wouldn’t give a second glance to?
What about the price and shelf life? Once opened, for how long can you use them?
Bacardi MIX’R – Detailed Review
Here is our experience with both Bacardi Mix’r variants.
1. Mojito
Price + Packaging
The beverage shown looks quite appealing and the label has some complimenting green graphics. This glass bottle holds 500 ml (approximately 4 servings) of content and is priced at Rs 190/- It has a nine-month shelf life.
Main Ingredients
Water, Sugar, Acidity regulators (INS 330 and INS 331 (III)), Natural flavoring substances, Lemon juice concentrate (0.66%)*Preservatives (INS 211 and INS 202), Antioxidant (INS 386) and Permitted synthetic food colors (Tartrazine (INS 102) and Brilliant Blue (INS 133)) are all the ingredients used.
The label also mentions that *Lemon juice from concentrate 5%.
Per 100 ml, this offers 66 Kcal of which 16.1 grams are carbohydrates in the form of sugar.
Other mixers that we have reviewed have slightly lower calories with a significantly lesser quantity of sugar. The sugar content could have been balanced better. Especially in a time where the competition for low-calorie/low-sugar mixers is so high.
How did we taste/make this?
We did not use any alcohol/spirits for our review process. We mixed the mixer with the specified quantity of soda (2:1), garnished with some lemon and mint, and commenced tasting.
Aroma + Appearance
This mixer had a vibrant green hue and a citrusy aroma.
The mixer was not a thick syrup, it was flowy, which ensured easy preparation of the cocktail.
Flavors
Bacardi MIX’R in Mojito was quite refreshing. It had that innate Mojito flavor profile of citrus and mint with a well-rounded sweetness. There were no synthetic flavors or anything artificial-tasting.
That said, this does need lemon with mint for the punch. If you’re consuming this with alcohol, this will give you a very fresh, flavorful mojito without having to gather 3-4 different ingredients.
- Fresh flavors
- Balanced sweetness
- Thumbs up for hue and consistency
- High sugar content.
A fuss-free downtime drink? Something to sip on when friends come over? Bacardi Mix’r is something you’d like if you like sweet, refreshing and slightly citrusy drinks.
