Our Expectations? We are looking for a bag of corn chips with an addictive and bold crunch. The flavors must be intense and align with what’s indicated on the labels.

The Spicy Devil variant comes in a black and red color outer pack. Priced at Rs. 100 for 115 gm pack, this has 5 months of shelf life.
Main Ingredients
The main ingredients are : Corn flour (60%), Edible vegetable oil (pal oil and rapeseed oil), Seasoning (Sugar, Edible common salt, Spice (chilli), Hydrolsed soy protein,, Onion, Garlic, Natural and nature identical flavoring substances, Edible vegetable oil (sesame oil), Anticaking agent, Flavor enhancers, Acidity regulators, Natural color, and Raising agent.

The texture of these chips hits the bullseye. It is light, airy, non-oily and super crunchy. In terms of the taste, the heat intensifies as you have 3-4 chips and hits you right in the throat. The promised spiciness is delivered, undoubtedly.
While these align with the flavor tags, they aren’t exceptionally flavorful to keep us constantly munching on them.

This has : Corn Flour (60%), Edible Vegetable Oil (palm Olein Oil & Rapeseed Oil), Seasoning [edible Common Salt, Maltodextrin, Sugar, Rice Flour, Spices & Condiments (chilli (0.5%)), Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, and Onion Powder.
In addition, it also contains Acidity Regulator (ins 330 & Ins 296), Natural & Nature Identical Flavoring Substances, Edible Vegetable Oil (palm), Tomato Solids, Flavour Enhancer (ins 627 & Ins 631), Anticaking Agent (ins 551), Garlic Powder, Thickening Agent (ins 414), Natural Colour (ins 150c), Lemon & Lime Oil (0.01% ) ], and Raising Agent (ins 500 (ii)).

These 4 layer chips feature a unique shape. The different layers precisely indicate the shell of a turtle. They are remarkably light, airy, and deliver a noticeable crunch.
Flavor-wise, these were pretty average. The flavor of corn is evident in every bite. However, the lime flavor is mild and quite subtle.
Lastly, we can say that these are not so addictive that we find ourselves devouring the entire pack in one sitting.

While wrapping up, we would say that these Turtle Chips by Orion have a remarkable crunch and are light and airy. However, in terms of flavor, they aren’t as addictive as one might anticipate from most snacks. A positive aspect is that, unlike regular corn chips, they are not gritty.
