Deep-Frying Method – For deep-frying, heat the oil up to 175 degrees. Remove the product from the freezer and directly put it in the oil without thawing. Take the required number of stix and place the remaining ones in the freezer. Deep fry for 3 minutes till it gets a light golden color.
Bake (Air Fryer) – For baking, preheat your air fryer to 200 degrees. Take four pieces of the veggie stix and bake for about 12-15 mins till you get a light golden color. Shake it for a couple of times in between. If taking less quantity make sure to reduce the cooking time.

4. Appearance
On opening the pack, we saw that the stix were stuck together with ice and glued to each other. We also noticed a few fragmented pieces of the stix. They had a cylindrical shape and were thick in size. We were able to get around 4 to 5 decent numbers of the stix.
5. Taste
Sure, frozen food packs in a lot of convenience. But it should also be tasty. The Amul Veggie Stix absorbed a lot of oil during the cooking process. This led to an extremely diminished overall experience.
The salt levels were fine but this wasn’t spicy at all. Moreover, the freshness expected from veggies like corn and peas was too low. They did not plump up and neither did they taste fresh.
6. Texture & Colour
We used the deep frying method to cook the Amul Veggie Stix, as advised. As we could only salvage 5-6 pieces that were intact, we only fried a single batch of these snacks.
The few pieces we deep fried had a fairly crispy exterior but did not cook evenly. Some pieces also burst open and the oil seeped well till the centre. The centre
The veggie stix had a crispy covering of bread crumbs and had vegetables such as carrots, corn, peas, potato. But the fact that it soaked up a lot of oil was a bit of a letdown.
