Taste & Texture
This granola is a mix of small-medium and large-sized chocolate-colored clusters. Almond slivers were generously added throughout.
We tasted this raw and with some milk. During stage one, raw tasting, this was quite hard to chew. That said, the almonds and the cereal overall, was crunchy and had a fresh, crisp bite.
Taste-wise, this was mildly sweet. The dark chocolate flavor was intense with a slight bitterness that we appreciated. The almond slivers were fresh-tasting, and the whole grains were in sync. No one overpowered the other.
When tasted with milk, the granola still needed some effort to chew but it lent a desirable sweetness to the milk.
