Taste and crunch are the crucial parameters we examined while reviewing BRB Popcorn chips. These are followed by supporting parameters, including – packaging, main ingredients, price and shelf life.
1. Taste
BRB’s popcorn chips come in 4 interesting flavors. In this segment, we closely examine the overall taste. From the salt, spice levels, to their closeness to the flavor tags on the pack – how do these taste? Any off-putting, oily/stale aftertaste?
2. Texture
The brand claims that these chips are neither baked nor fried. These are popped. What does that mean? As per the brand’s website, these chips are made using the popping method. They are cooked using zero oil in a mini pressure-filled vessel which helps them pop. Once popped, they are sprinkled with rice bran oil and seasoned with different flavors.
The brand adds that these are super light and extra crunchy. Are these claims true?
