How we tried it
We tried this straight out of the tube and over untoasted bread slices.
Appearance & Consistency
The spread had a deep chocolate brown hue. The consistency was extremely flowy and we could see lots of granules of Bournvita.
To put it into perspective, the consistency was so flowy that we didn’t even have to squeeze the tube. Just holding it at an upright position caused the contents to flow out.
Taste & Texture
As mentioned above, owing to the consistency, this was exceptionally effortless to spread. It had tiny bits which enhanced the experience of each bite.
Taste-wise, this delivered on the Bournvita flavor promise. This was primarily sweet and the chocolate flavor was decadent. The crunchy bits lent an additional chocolate-malt flavor that we quite liked. All-in-all, we give it the green light on taste.
We’d like to add, after scanning the ingredient list and nutrition labels, this is something you should consume occasionally and not make a part of your regular diet because this has quite high amounts of sugar, saturated fats, and cholesterol. The brand too recommends pairing the spread with a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Pros

- The sweetness and chocolate flavor were on point.
- The crunchy granules that have the iconic Bournvita flavor added a nice texture.
Cons
