Dairy Milk Madbury Chocolate Bars – Our Review Factors
Interesting ingredients have been used in these innovative chocolate bars. Do they complement each other?
1. Flavor
Each Madbury variant combines two additional flavors/ingredients. What proportion of chocolate to flavoring ingredients has been used? Could we still taste the milk chocolate or did the additions have a stronger presence? Do the flavor of rose and chilli-orange pair well with the chocolate? If yes, how prominent is their presence? Does the chocolate retain its milky taste? Do the nuts/fruit peels taste industrial? Overall, are these chocolate bars ideal for that post-meal dessert?
2. Price
We compared some of the most popular brands of flavored chocolate bars available in the Indian market. To our surprise, Cadbury Dairy Milk Madbury chocolates are priced very economically.

Rose petals, rose essence are widely used in Indian kitchens, especially in dessert preparations. It adds a floral taste and aroma that uplifts the entire dish when used in correct proportions.
Dried rose petals are also used to add some texture along with almonds. Madbury Gulaab ae Khaas has a milk chocolate base that is flavored with rose and has 10% almonds. We had nothing but high hopes from this one and it fully delivered on all promises!
An observation we made before the taste test- all almond bits have settled at the base, they aren’t evenly distributed. However, every single bite has a nutty crunch, so no complaints.
