SUPERB!
Summary
Superb. Both the taste and texture of Cadbury Oreo Red Velvet Biscuits are commendable. This innovative experimentation gets a thumbs up from Team Mishry.
The iconic vanilla cream Oreos have seen a lot of experimentation. Sometimes with the double stuffings, and sometimes with dippings and flavors. While the classic variant is a crowd pleaser, the new additions may or may not hit the bulls eye.
Oreo and Netflix recently collaborated to celebrate the upcoming season of Stranger Things in India. This led to the launch of a new limited edition of Oreo in Red Velvet. The dark brown chocolate cookie turned an attractive red and we grabbed a pack to review it in our test kitchen. Is it tasty?

Our Review Factors
What are we looking for? Red velvet is a soft, smooth, and velvety cake with just a hint of chocolate. It differs from a regular chocolate cake due to its cream cheese frosting and mild cocoa taste with a slight tang. We expect these biscuits to have a traditional red velvet taste with a creamy filling and balanced sweetness.
We have examined Cadbury Oreo Red Velvet Biscuit on the following –
1. Taste/Flavor
Here we assess the flavor of the filling, the biscuit and the collective bite. Is the overall sweetness balanced? Does the flavor come close to that of a regular red velvet? Is the cream cheese-like flavor present? Is it mild or intense?
2. Texture
Since it is a sandwiched biscuit, we check the texture of the filling and the biscuit both. How smooth and creamy is the center filling? Is the biscuit crunchy, or does it have a soft bite?
3. Appearance & Aroma
How unique are these biscuits in appearance from regular Oreo biscuits? Any broken ones observed? Is the aroma enticing?
4. Other Parameters
Packaging
Are these biscuits placed in a tray? Is the packaging secure?

We look for the ingredients to check the sources of sugar and fat used. Additionally, we also check for any preservatives, additives, artificial colors, or flavors? What are the primary ingredients used in these biscuits?
