Pricing
Price-wise, the pack has 15 green tea paper cups and is priced at Rs. 220, so one cup is for Rs. 14 (approx)., which is slightly expensive than an average price of teabags.
Packaging
The cup contains around 1.8 grams of green tea with tulsi, which is about the same quantity as a regular teabag.
How to Make?
We poured hot water (around 90 degrees Celsius) in the cup and waited for 4 minutes before drinking it. The color of the tea was mild golden. We loved the fresh grassy aroma, which was refreshing and fulfilling.
Taste and Flavor
Coming to the flavor, the tea has a dominant tulsi flavor. The good thing is it didn’t have a bitter aftertaste. Plus, unlike most green teas, it didn’t taste acidic even after keeping it for a good 4 minutes. This is crucial, considering that the tea leaves are under a mesh at the bottom of the cup, and you cannot ‘remove’ them as you would do with a teabag, or tea-leaves (that are strained).
The brand claims that the paper cup can be refilled and reused 2-3 times. So we checked if the green tea granules retain their flavor. We tried it again after a couple of hours, and surprisingly enough, the tea retains its flavor. We loved the quality tulsi flavor that enhances the overall experience of drinking green tea.
