3. Taste
When reviewing snacks like potato chips, we closely examine the intensity of flavor and whether the taste justifies the flavor name or not.
The cheesy cheddar flavor is the first thing that hits our mouth as we taste the chips. The overall flavor profile of these chips has a light creaminess similar to that of mild (young) cheddar.
Coming to the salt and spice levels, the salt present is slightly on the lower side. And so is the case with spice. We expected the taste of black pepper to come out bold, but these chips do not deliver on the characteristic peppery heat.
Additionally, there is a lingering flavor of onion and a mild touch of garlic in the background. Overall, the taste of these chips was average.
4. Texture + Crunch
The texture and crunch are crucial factors when we review any packaged chips. The brand claims that these chips have Maxx crunch and Maxx flavor. But were these claims delivered?
We expected crunchy chips, and crunchy chips are what we got. Yay! There is a prominent crunch as you bite into these chips. These chips do not feel oily or greasy to touch.

The appearance of these chips is rather unique compared to regular potato chips. These chips have a wavy zigzag pattern. They are small to medium in size.
