Our Review Factors

What were we looking for? We are looking for a soft and moist cake with a fresh-tasting fruity filling and balanced sweetness.

For an in-depth examination of Lotte Fruto Pie Fluffy Cakes With Strawberry Creme, we have taken into consideration the following review parameters :

1. Taste

In the taste segment, we examine different components – the overall sweetness, freshness, and if there is any eggy taste. The hero of a cream filled cake is the center filling. How flavorful is the filling? Is the flavor of strawberry fresh and dominant?

2. Texture

Here we look for the texture of the outer layer and the fruity filling. Is the outer layer of cake/pie soft and airy? Or does it crumble and feel dry? Is the filing thick, or does it ooze out on breaking apart? We also look for the overall mouthfeel. Is it light or heavy on the palette?

3. Cake To Cream Ratio

Is this Fruto Pie generously filled with the filling or is it just cake?

4. Other Observations

Appearance

The pictorial representation on the pack looks appetizing. Does the actual fruto pie look appealing? Is the shape intact or was it broken and crumbly?
