We received a small sachet-style pack which was a part of our MOJO Box review. The MOJO Box was ordered and paid for by us. The creamy dark chocolate peanut butter by MuscleBlaze is available in four sizes – 340 grams, 750 grams, 1 kg and 2.5 kg. Each size is packed in a different style of jar. As per their website a 340 gm jar is priced at Rs 299/-.
Appearance
This is a thick PB with a smooth texture and has a dark chocolate color. There is no oil separation.
Ingredients and nutrition
The ingredients of this peanut butter include – Roasted peanuts (55%), Dark chocolate paste (Sugar, Vegetable fat, Cocoa mass (3%), Cocoa solids & Emulsifiers (INS 322 & INS 476)), Whey protein concentrate (10%), and Stabilizer (INS 471). It also contains added flavor.
A single serve, i.e, 32 grams of this peanut butter provides 8.64 grams of protein which is a standardized quantity.
We have definitely seen peanut butters with a cleaner ingredient list and a higher protein content.
