Our Review Factors

What parameters did we set? During our Snackible Baked Pizza sticks review, we set taste, texture, and the nutrition quotient as the primary parameters.

Would these curb the pizza cravings, while keeping you within the calorie budget?

1. Taste

Cheesy, herby, slightly tangy are classic flavor profiles in a pizza. How close do these baked snacks come in terms of flavor? Enough to satiate the cravings? How well are these seasoned?

2. Texture

Baked snacks are crisp. These may be slightly drier as compared to fried snacks, owing to the limited usage of oil/fat.

The sticks are placed in a tray, inside a resealable pouch and the dip is packed separately. One pack holds 75 grams (50 grams sticks + 25 grams dip) and is priced at Rs 65/- with a shelf life of three months from the date of manufacturing.

Main Ingredients

Baked Pizza Sticks- Refined wheat flour, red chilli, garlic, iodised salt, cheese, pizza masala, and vegetable oil.

Jalapeno Dip- Refined soybean oil, water, synthetic vinegar (water, acetic acid (INS 260)), sugar, emulsifier and stabilizers, cheese powder (2.5%), iodised salt, tomato paste, spices and condiments, jalapeno powder (0.5%), natural and nature-identical flavoring substances, preservatives (INS 211, INS 202), acidity regulator (INS 330), herbs, antioxidant (INS 319), and sequestrant (INS 385)

50 grams of the baked sticks offer 201 Kcal, 7 grams of fat, 29 grams of carbohydrates, and 5.28 grams of protein.

25 grams of the dip offer 94 Kcal with 0.175 grams of protein, 9.12 grams of fat, and 2.85 grams of fat.

The entire pack offers around 6 grams of protein for almost 300 Kcal which is below average. Other packaged snacks offer 6-10 grams of protein (moong dal, baked chips, protein puffs, etc)

Aroma + Appearance

These were long, rectangular strips. Barely a few were broken, but other than that, the rest were intact. The dip is offered in another container, no leakage or spillage.

The sticks were loaded with masala and had some shaves of cheese. These shavings weren’t consistent, some sticks were loaded, others barely had any. The dip is orangey and gloopy in appearance.

Taste + Texture

The baked sticks were thicker and had a harder bite than your average lavash. This was prominent on the garlic flavor and did have a few pizza-like flavors too. No complains when it comes to the sticks.

The dip, however, was a let down. Neither did we like the flavor nor the consistency. It was not creamy, it was too gloopy and dense to be paired with sticks.
