Aroma
These biscuits have an enticing aroma of vanilla and malt.
Taste
Going by the labels, we expected these biscuits to have a taste similar to that of Bournvita. You know, how most of us ate straight from the jar as kids. However, these showcase a nutty, barley type flavor together with slight notes of vanilla and chocolate. It doesn’t taste like the Bournvita we have grown accustomed to, or how their new crunchy spread tastes like.
The overall sweetness is balanced for adults. However, keeping the target audience, i.e children, in mind the sweetness might be on the lower side. Especially if you compare these to the cream filled, sugary sweet cookies and biscuits they often eat.
Texture
In terms of the texture, these biscuits are crisp. These thin sized biscuits have a nice crunch. No complaints there.
