The wheels emitted an appetizing aroma of desi masale. It was a favorable mix of red chilli, ginger- garlic, dried mango, black pepper, among others. These were decent-sized wheels, almost identical-looking, with no broken pieces.

Light and crunchy, the wheels had a crisp bite. The texture was apt for a snack. As for flavors, we were fairly impressed by the chilli and garlic notes. Overall, the spice and salt were rounded. No one ingredient overpowered another, and this was fresh to taste. Unlike certain packaged snacks, these did not reek of stale oil or rancid ingredients, thumbs up. The masala was sprinkled generously and was retained over the wheels. This variant called ‘spicy masala’ definitely lives up to that name.
